Brussels, Belgium, December 26, 2012. The controversial Christmas tree of the Grand place of Brussels, created by 1024 architecture & Patrick Rinoux measures 24 meters and lights up in different colors. This modern version of a christmastree, sponsored by Belgian energy firm Electrabel attracts attention of tourists and press. The Grote Markt or Grand Place is the central square of Brussels. It is surrounded by guildhalls, the city's Town Hall, and the Breadhouse and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
