2010-10-07, Brussels, EU parliament, Rue Wiertz, This morning Greenpeace activist blocked the main entrance of the European Union buildings in the Wiertz-street, Brussels. The activists chained themselves to the entrance, and into the flagstaffs surrounding the entrance. Greenpeace also has put two samples of radioactive waste at the entrance, to get attention of the MEP's for the nuclear waste derective next month. These samples were collected at the beaches and rivershores of Molse Nete in Belgium, Akokan village, Niger. Because of their radioactivity, MEP's couldn't get in or out by these entrances, and it took the police a long while to unchain the activists and secure the nuclear waste.
